Here's a rough draft our our quilt trip in March for all those signed up!! This is not carved in stone but a general idea of what is available to do if you so choose.
I'm so excited about the whole trip - (especially seeing 9000 bolts of fabric in one place!)

Itinerary
Tuesday – March 10, 2009 –
6:30am - Depart Teays Valley (old Hills bldg)
8:00am – Stop at Travel Center (Tamarack) coffee & bathroom break
11:00am – arrive at Hamrick’s – Kingsport, TN – shopping until 12:30pm
12:30pm – 1:30pm – lunch
2:00pm - arrive at Somewhere Sewing, Johnson City, TN – shop until 3:30pm
5:00pm – Arrive at Music Road Hotel – Refreshments – check in rooms
6:00pm - 7:30pm Travel to Gatlinburg for dinner (not provided)
7:30pm – Return to Hotel – REST !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Wednesday – March 11, 2009
Continental breakfast at hotel – or your choice in town
9:00am – 4:45 – Quilt show or on your own
4:45pm – Leave Hotel for Blackbear Jamboree
5:00pm – 8:30pm – Dinner & show Included
8:30pm – Hotel and REST THOSE FEET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thursday – March 12, 2009
Continental breakfast at hotel
9:00am – 12:00 noon – Shopping at Outlet Mall & lunch on your own
12:00noon – Return to Hotel for pickups and dropoffs
1:00pm –2:30pm - Cherry Pit Quilt Shop in Sevierville
2:30 – 4:00pm – shopping at mall
4:00pm – Return to Hotel – freshen up for dinner
4:45pm – Depart Hotel for Old Mill Restaurant
5:00pm – 6:30pm – Dinner
6:30pm – Return to hotel or go for City Tour on Our Bus (more shopping????)
Friday – March 13, 2009
Continental breakfast at hotel
9:00am – Depart from Hotel
11:00am – 1:30pm – Tennesse Quilt Shop (8000+bolts of fabric!!)
Sewing Bee & lunch if close enough to walk to
4:00 pm – 5:00pm – Dinner – on your own
7:30pm – Arrive at Teays Valley
